A different boat

While waiting to pick Mrs M up from the dentist this morning I had a wander, as is my wont, along the ferry terminal. Just for a change I decided to Blip NLV Pharos, tied up at the Lighthouse Pier.

She is based in Oban and operates largely in Scottish and Manx waters, servicing over 200 automatic lighthouses, buoys, and beacons. You can see the helipad mounted on the bows.

You can see more of her from the Lighthouse Pier webcam, here - https://www.oban.org.uk/lighthouse-webcam/

On the left and right background are some of the cliffs on the island of Kerrera and in the misty distance, the mountains of Mull
