Above And Beyond...

Storms River Bridge

We left our apartment about 8am to travel about 175 miles from Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth to get our 3.20pm plane to Durban.

Most of the route is along the N2 and through the toll section at Tsitsikamma where at Bloukrans Bridge there is the longest bungee jump in the world at 216 metres (709 feet). You cannot stop to watch jumpers unless you go into the park, which we did last year.

However, the next bridge is Storms River Bridge ( Paul Sauer bridge ) 394 feet high which we walked over both directions last year is next to the services  which gives a great view of it. The blipfoto shows the bridge with walkers and passing traffic. We walked it last year and it's a hell of a drop!

We are now at our apartment in Umhlanga, Durban for eight nights, and off out shortly for a meal.
