Our Local Bus

It's the 57 Bus stopping at the foot of our street; the number normally shows in the white rectangle at the top left of the front, but the image's lighting has obliterated it.  The bus goes to the Gare de Lyon , one of Paris's main train stations. It was yet another damp, cloudy day, again seasonably chilly at 10°C (50°F). On TV we watched with fascination the process of the first decisive Brexit vote in Britain's House of Commons.   Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal went down to a 432 to 202 defeat--an even wider margin than had been generally expected.   29 March is the date when Britain is due to leave the EU, and what will  follow now is literally anybody's guess.  Across the pond Trump continues to preside over what may become known as the hamburger shutdown :)
