This takes the biscuit

I liked the glow of the light in these gull wings. I had sharper images but nothing lit quite so nicely so what you see is what you get. It isn't always so.

Another story from yesterday's John Lloyd talk and one that I've come across before so apologies if it's familiar. He tells this one about his good friend, the late Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Adams had a train to catch one day but had a bit of time to kill at the station so bought a coffee, a newspaper and one of those little cellophane packs of biscuits. He sat down to drink his coffee and a man came and sat opposite him at the same table. Adams took one of the biscuits out of the packet and was shocked to see the man reach in and take one out too, staring at him as he did so. Each of them glowered at the other as they took biscuits out in turn until the packet was empty and the man left. It was only then that Adams picked up his newspaper to find his pack of biscuits underneath.

I guess that's how wars start.
