Diary of an Edinburgher

Visitors

Bike.

I was getting ready to take Archie out for a walk this morning, when Libby texted to ask if she was expected. Expected? No - we weren’t sure if she was back from holiday, but welcome? Great! Apparently he fetched the frisbees quite often.

The afternoon was spent getting ready for our visitors - making nibbles. JR invents them, places them all in front of me with a sample one, and I assemble them. It's a production line! We tried a new, rather delicious gin from St Andrews.

Fortunately, the big gin glasses were on top of a big box of 'packed away stuff'. Unlike the sticking plasters... JR cut her finger and could not find the plasters! They've been 'packed away' too soon... And I had time to fiddle around with the 'portrait' setting on my iPhone.

Rufus and his mum came, and another nearby neighbour, and Ann came - but without Molly. We were all very sad. But Archie got quite excited when Ann asked if she could maybe take Archie out sometimes... YES!!
