Panoramic Red Sunrise ...

… at 7:23, from our fourth floor apartment in Paris 13e.  It's the best I remember in the ten winters we've had this wonderful view.  It was a mostly sunny but very chilly day. In the afternoon we went to an exhibition at the Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall), entitled PhotographierParis--"New Views of the City".*  Sixteen photographers from France and seven other countries are represented; all are relatively young, and each has his or her distinct style. The show is  displayed in a very modern setting, with each angular gallery distinct (see the extra for one; the large images are by Stephan Keppel from Holland, age 45). The Town Hall does a terrific job with its exhibitions--usually photographs; we've usually seen one per winter and enjoyed them all.
*Here's the only decent link I've found to the show (just in French); it's on just till 27 January, after being extended.
