Blipmeet at the bridge

For some time in our journals/comments Sallymair and I have been discussing the graffiti under one of the bridges on Edinburgh's cycle paths. We have also admired one another's recent kitchen creations, including my chutney and Sallymair's marmalade. This afternoon we moved the discussion off-line when we held a short blipmeet at 'our' bridge. Mr hazelh and Colin accompanied us.

This encounter felt like a cross between a blind date, private view, and drug deal. We very much enjoyed meeting one another face-to-face for the first time over drinks - Sallymair brought a small bottle of Prosecco. We admired the developing artwork under the bridge, and swapped a couple of jars of preserves.

My blip shows the goodies exchanged, and in the extra are Sallymair, Mr hazelh and Colin sharing out the Prosecco. Sallymair also wrote about our blipmeet in her journal today.

The rest of my day was dedicated to email shovelling and associated administrivia.

Exercise today: 8 mile bike ride.
