The WInchester Clock

This is the nineteenth century clock on the what was the Guildhall in WInchester. It’s now Lloyds Bank.

They think that it was the first of its kind in the south of England to be lit by gas.

It’s a well known landmark.

I’m going to sleep well tonight as I’ve walked down town to volunteer at the mill, walked back and then walked in the opposite direction to go to the dry cleaners.

As usual we met lots of lovely people and it was an added bonus today as they were baking. There was lots of yummy things to eat. The cheese scones were delicious.

HtP had been working today and he came round with ingredients to make dinner.

To try to help save the planet I’ve bought some toilet rolls made from bamboo. Unfortunately the smallest quantity was 40. That’s going to take us some time to get through them. I could give them away as gifts and encourage other people to use them?
