Choir Practise

Friday night is music night...Standing quietly in the shadows, took a discreet quick shot.

It had been a busy day of battling with the hoards, Christmas shopping and then cooking for the freezer in preparation for the family to descend over the coming few weeks. So having to blip rather late in the day I decided to go to Tewkesbury Abbey and look at the West Window.

It is the largest external arch in Britain rebuilt and strengthened over the years reaching 65 feet high. The present tracery was put in in 1686 and I think looks quite impressive illuminated in the night. However there were people going inside so just had to check out what was going on - choir practise! However didn't stay as had supper cooking away in the oven!
