Hemming and Hawing

A mostly inside day after a good walk to, and visit with friends, at Paiku.
Hemmed and ironed curtains upstairs listening to an Ursula Hegi book, "Sacred Time," then I hung the curtains in the kitchen, but I'm not sure I like them - seems like too much fabric. Haven't come up with a solution to cover these windows up here - I love it best with no curtains, but on sunny days it's a different story.
Wish I could prune that ancient plum tree from up here, the driveway canopy below makes it tricky to do from the ground.
