Orchard in Winter

I spent the day with Victoria at her home.  While recuperating from her recent surgery she has been revising for her exams in February and I have been marking. 
 
Dull and overcast all day with a very hard frost this morning. It was three degrees Celsius at noon.

Today’s picture is of the orchard in Winter, looking bleak and uninviting; still no water in the pond.
