Nelson had a rough day today.

He had morning appointment to the vet. First they took his blood work to see he's up for the anesthesia. He was and under he went. They took away all the tartar from his teeth, but couldn't remove the infected tooth as the roots go in so many directions that they need a special tool if it needs to be removed. So now Nelson has antibiotics and he has a check-up next week. If the tooth is okay we don't need the other procedure, if it gets bad again, they will order the tool and he will have another anesthesia.



We picked up Nelson at 4 pm. He'd been crying a bit, but always calmed down when they went to pet him. He was bit confused when we took him home, but also seemed happy to get home. He's been sleeping most of the evening under his fleece blanket. He got bit more energy as he got a little supper. He'll get bit more after few hours, but he still might start to vomit, so we're supposed to take it easy with the food. So after small supper he took few steps around kitchen and looked very sharp, but went back to sleep again. Soon we'll take the dogs for their evening walk. I assume he'll be able to do a little walk with us. He did from the vets to car and from the car to home already. Slowly, but walked.



The others have been occasionally passed him and sniffed him as to make sure it's the same guy that left in the morning. They also waited very patiently is he gonna eat all of his supper or could they be at service.



But yes, very doggy day all and all. All I managed to do outside of all this I cut my scrap jeans bits so I can start sewing them together so I can make a sofa cover for the dogs. I have one on upstairs sofa and it's been really good in use.
