A host

... of narcissi on the coffee table in the lounge have filled most of the house with their scent at the start and end of my day. They are the latest thing to sit beneath my picture with nothing quite fitting the bill as well as the Christmas tree with a red star atop. 

Monday was a bit of a shock to the system - for Bailey too as he bolted upstairs to the spare bed as soon as his lead was off this morning. I had to go and get on with my day and managed to remain fairly static in my office for some of the morning and get things done. Getting things done for others was the pattern for much of the rest of the day but it wasn't too frustrating a start to Week 3 of Term 3.
