Chimney

Overdressed for Kit Hill today - it was unbelievably mild! I was stripping off the gloves, hat, scarf, jumpers! The bird was in it's usual position in the tree - I'm wondering if it is a kite as the  name of the hill is derived  after the old English for kite! This chimney is the the South Kit Hill Mine with a depth of 100m. I like how in the extra the clouds look like smoke from the chimney! I hoped to get such a photo as I walked up towards and around it. I still haven't come across the Neolithic  Long  Barrow nor the Bronze Round barrows - I'm sure I'll stumble upon them one day!
