Runaways

The beach sand is much lower during winter, exposing the posts from the old railway trestle for a one-time local line to Capitola. I believe that building the breakwaters for the harbor has meant more sand building up on Seabright Beach to the west, while there is less sand here at Twin Lakes - but it always comes back in summer, whether naturally or with the intervention of dredgers and bulldozers, I don’t know.
The extra is some young men around their fire - I like how the heat distorted the lighthouse.
