Walking to the horizon

I made bread in the morning, phoned France with some important project dates, pruned a gooseberry bush, decided not to empty the compost heap for another year and then rewired a lamp.  A ship's clock was later delivered for repair which I dismantled and cleaned.  It was too nice a day to stay in all afternoon so we set off over the fields to Quadring to enjoy the sunshine and the cold, crisp air.
