A little too late

I was out fairly early this morning, but I was a little too late to catch the best of the sunrise. The colour of the sky was fading by the second, and this was visible in the couple of images I took as I was passing Queen's Cross. The first image caught the colour best. A pity I had not been a few minutes earlier.

As usual Queen Victoria surveys the traffic in the morning rush hour.
