Slippers and shoes

Bad start to the morning. Icy pavements. Husband ended up flat on his back while walking to work. Unfortunately for him I was out of phone contact for an hour or more while he was getting back home. So by the time I was back in contact, he was in a lot of pain and had been suffering from shock. I insisted that he went to A&E to get checked over, and fortunately he was found to be ok.

Later in the day daughter and I ventured out into the cold (but no longer icy) city centre on a school shoe shopping expedition, returning via Rose Street where she needed her milk shake fix.
