Back To The Real World With A Bump!

Phew!  That was the longest January 26th I've ever experienced!  Yesterday morning, it was January 26th in Sydney when we bade farewell to that lovely city on the harbour and headed to the airport for our flight back to Boston.  It is still January 26th this evening as we sit bleary-eyed and weary in our apartment after 23 hours of flying!  (All thanks to the International Dateline).

We were greeted in the lobby by our building manager, who was very apologetic, and wanted to break the news to us gently that a water pipe had let go somewhere up on the 30th floor a couple of days ago, and several apartments were affected by the subsequent deluge ... ours being one.  It looks like we will have to have the guest room repainted, and there are now very LOUD blowers in there, as well as the guest bath, the guest loo, and the front hall addressing residual moisture issues.  We feel like we are living in a wind tunnel!

Extra:  My attempt at shooting the Boston skyline as we taxied to our gate at Logan Airport.  Blurry ... just like Mr. W and me!!!!!
