Carskey Bay, Waves and Spray

5.8C with good sunny spells and some cloud. NNW/NW wind to 33 mph with gusts to 55 mph.
(Wind through the night was NNW at a constant 40 mph with very frequent gusts to 61 mph)

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. No seals on the rocks at Kiel today. Very low tide with the Kelp beds visible beyond the rocks at Kiel. Sea very active with lots of waves breaking on their approach to shore with huge plumes of spray blown back off the tops  by the wind.

We walked along to the far end and back.
Fergus was on his lead today.

Later Apothecary7 was painting.
Van Morrison then BBC Radio 2 was on in the background, with Tom Robinson sitting in for Johnnie Walker who is taking abreak due to heart health issues.

DC-TZ90  f/4 1/1000 sec. ISO-80 4mm (35mm focal length 26mm)

Extra: Looking the other way, towards Sheep and Sanda islands.
