Silly Saturday ....

... another road trip!!

Today R and I took another road trip!  However, we didn't have as far to travel today as a few weekends ago .... less than an hour from home. 

Even though it was very cold and windy (19° F.) we wanted to go to the Tobyhanna Ice Harvesting Festival.  We had been there a few times .... the last being back in February 2013 .... and we have always had a good time.  Although today the wind was wicked and we didn't stay too long. 

I thought this young boy was pretty silly standing on the ice right in front of a "thin ice" sign!  That's really what it says!  I have taken the liberty of darkening the wording so that it's more readable!  And adding a slight watercolor effect. 

And talk about being silly .... one of the pictures in the extra collage is of the legs of a man who fell into the pond!  I have cropped it down to protect his stupidity  .... er ... I mean identity!  Also featured in the collage is a picture of a young man J (lower right) that's the son of a former co-worker of Richard.  R remembers when Carolee was pregnant with him ... 17 years ago!
