Origin of name...

This is a photo of a photo of my parents on their wedding day in 1951. I am the fourth child but first daughter and my dad was allowed (yes allowed) to choose my name-Ruth. Apparently as the story goes it was a name of my dad's first girl friend...that is his best friend at school. My mother wanted to use her mothers name for my middle name (Mildred), but thankfully I was born on my dad's mums birthday so was spared.

When I made my profile for Blip, it decided what my blip name should be and I haven't changed it.
