Bird Dropping Spider

I noticed this yesterday and it was still there today.  We were picking the plums so that we could make some plum chutney and plum jam.  
I have heard about these spiders but had never seen one before.  I first noticed the balls which I believe are the egg sacs and then found the spider on the very end.  Teach didn't believe me it was a spider until I pulled the branch down for him to have a closer look.
