Snow on Arran

4.2C bright with long sunny spells then a few snowy showers in the afternoon. Moderate W/NW/WNW breeze.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and had a wander round the old quay. Then we carried on along Hall Street and the shore side of the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House. Across the Kilbrannan sound there was a lot of snow on the hills of Arran. We turned and came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).

On the Clip while walking:
The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Euan McIlwraith and Mark Stephen.
1. Mark and Euan in conversation with former Landward producer, Arthur Anderson.
2. Yoghurt, Moongazing, Apples and Blackenings.
Mark visited a dairy, and went moongazing, while Euan investigated one of the stupidest Scottish traditions.

Afternoon music ... Stevie Nicks, In Your Dreams. Fleetwood Mac, Tango in the Night.
