No. 23 & 24 Wood Street

It's been a while since I've contributed an entry to my onestreet project of Wood Street, Stratford upon Avon, in fact it was April 2018 when I published nos. 21 and 22, in fact number 22, Prezzo is now a Turkish restaurant,  Turquoise Kitchen.

Numbers 23 and 24 are the upstairs and downstairs of the shop that was Aspire before it closed, now empty.  Apparently the upstairs is empty too as it is being advertised for rent. Interestingly number 23 is listed on Google as Heartlands Church, though there is no trace of a church, or any other religious building, there.  A Heartlands Church search on Google results in an actual church, based in Lincoln, New England, USA.

In 1891 the occupants of this address were  Emma Bush, a Boot and Shoe dealer and her daughter Emily Bush, a Milliner.

As can be seen from the photo it was pretty wet this afternoon, i didn't hang around, a quick snap then onto Blue Cross to collect Ann for a coffee at Nero.
