Discussing coffee.....

.....how to make a good Americano. 

Hubby enjoys an Americano from time to time, today was one of those days. He thought it should be made with hot water first, then the coffee, with milk on the side if needed - easy.

Today he received coffee in the cup and hot water on the side. When he gently added the hot water the creamer dispersed....it didn't taste the same.

Hubby and A are consulting Google, it seems it can be made both ways...interesting for those who like coffee, I had tea.

We had a wonderful few hours in Lyttelton drinking coffee/tea, eating cake, wandering round the timeball, watching ships come into port and leaving, and then a drive round Governors Bay.
