Squirrel's eye view

This hazel tree grows in the pavement just outside our property.

It is festooned with catkins which should, once again, produce a fine crop of nuts (I am not sure if they are hazel nuts, cobnuts or filberts - more research needed).

The squirrels usually bag them first but I do not begrudge them this harvest; outsider the property is fair game...I think
