Cigar case

My great grandfather and my grandfather were in the cigar manufacturing business in London in the 19th century.

My grandfather decided there was no future in smoking apparatus and left the business. (Good one Granddad!)

I have shown one of his cigar cases BEFORE, and this one must also have been one of his.

I think it is made from Papier-mâché and is highly decorated. The inner container is also painted like the outer with all the edges decorated with flowers as shown.
