Winter wonderland, well mostly ...

Well, given that it's -14°C in New York and Italy has almost been brought to a standstill by heavy snowfalls, I can hardly complain about a coolish day here in Alohaland. But, yes, today has been cool (about 22° and windy) and rainy for much of the day. We were lucky to find a break in the weather for a brisk walk along the beach. The changing colours of the water were fascinating, but not possible to pick up in one static photo. It was exhilarating to feel the wind and the ocean air. For the rest of the day I've read my book, done quite a bit of work (yep, I also work here) and practised the ukulele. Now we're off for dinner with our friend, Cheryl.
