Abstract Thursday: Movement

Inge's subject for this week's challenge is movement, so abandoning all the usual precautions to keep the camera as still as possible here is a shot of a vase of tulips carefully backlit to try to encourage both the contrast but also the sense of movement.

It is supposed to have been snowing for 2 hours here - according to the weather forecast on the BBC we have a 100% change of snow.  I don't know who is calculating their odds but there is no sign of any snow here as yet ...
