Not as planned

It was my birthday and we had planned to go to London to go to Tait Britain. But it had snowed heavily overnight, the trains were delayed and I didn’t think that it was a good idea to travel in those conditions.

So instead we went into town for breakfast.

The boys walk had been cancelled due to the weather so instead we took them to the woods for a walk. They loved running in the snow.

The conservatory isn’t quite finished as we need a pipe moved. That will be done on Monday. And then the guys will come back.

It was a busy day as the tree surgeons were working down the drive clearing the dead wood.

After an afternoon of chilling we went out for dinner.

So not quite what we planned but still a lovely day.
