Sgwarnog: In the Field

Transform

We had some snow at last. Not enough to be disruptive, but enough to transform the landscape.

After dropping 11yo at school I walked down to Tong Park, back along to the moor, up to the top trig point then back down to the village.

I liked the contrast between the moor and the city below for today's main image, taken at Hope Gate. Salts Mill sits in the middle ground; the tall chimney of Manningham Mills taking us further into the city beyond. The extra was taken just a few yards away and just goes to show what you choose to leave in and out of frame can convey quite a different sense of place.
