The Last Drop...

The white is rapidly falling to the resurgent green, and soon the chill winter will be supplanted by the spring. In the garden, the icy remnants cover the (will soon be) flower beds and, hey! one of the balloons I hung from the washing line actually froze!

Worth looking at in Large, I think. The crackles and crystals within the ice are remarkable. 

Yesterday the roads were still too slippery for us to venture out, but today we may be braver. We did try, but having rescued one elderly lady from the ice rink that was the pavement we decided perhaps the warmth and comfort of home beckoned yet.
