A painted mural which represents the Dansken astronomical telescope graces the facade of the Graham Hills Building in George Street, Glasgow. The actual telescope was situated in the interior of the observatory dome on the top floor of the Royal Technical College in the 1920s. The GH building is now part of Strathclyde University. The observatory was in the care of the School of Navigation and the telescope was used to teach nautical astronomy. It is a wonderful example of a mural transforming a concrete wall.
