City of Culture

We're all very excited here in the London Borough of Waltham Forest because we have won the title of London Borough of Culture for 2019. The murals (or murials as they are often called round here) are springing up. Foxes on the gable wall by the chinese restaurant.  Which is quite appropriate because they tear open the plastic sacks of waste food that are left out by the bins overnight.

Sorry if I'm moaning but this drizzle takes a bit of getting used to after the previous 10 days of sunshine and heat. I'll settle down in a day or two.
