Sparkling sunshine

A lovely crisp winter's day ....... so this afternoon we went for a walk up the road to Pioneer & Beech Wood! Hubby want to go too far as he has come down with man flu a rather nasty cold!

The sun was shining ..... there was blue sky ..... the birds were singing ...... fabulous! There was a rather chilly breeze when we were in the more open areas!

We then decided to carry on a little further up the road, which runs along by the river bank ...... as last time we did there were lots of birds about in the trees bordering the road. Unfortunately someone has decided to cut down almost all the trees & bushes along there! Not surprisingly there was nothing about .... so we returned home through the wood instead!
