Davaar Island from the Road to New Orleans

7.4C dry with sunny spells. Light WNW/W breeze after a windy night.

After lunch Fergus and I got my little car and drove round Kilkerran Road to the Doirlinn car park. Not having used it for  while I think I was lucky it started! Note to self ... use the car more often.

From there we walked out along the road passing Davaar island and Davaar House and continued along the road to New Orleans. There were lots of birds along the shore and in the sea. No seals. Once we got round past Davaar House the light got better and it was a lovely walk.

On the Clip while walking:
The Scotland Outdoors podcast with Euan McIlwraith and Mark Stephen.
Mark and Euan discovered Scotland's first railway, a WW1 replica trench in Aberdeen plus highland cows, Cranes and Orcas (Chanonry Point).
