I bet I could stand on it

A very quick blip of the Manchester, Bolton and Bury canal, so thick with green algae that it looked completely solid - and was sadly full of rubbish too.

My husband just got a call to say his brother was rushed into hospital with an anaphylactic shock so he's had to go get his niece as she just lives with her dad. She'll have to stay the night at ours if he doesn't get out of hospital.

Have been very slow at reading everyone's journals this week so hope to catch up very soon!
