Or "cake in a jar - tasty tidbit". It was rubbish out today and I hadn't the heart to go very far and thus, we end up with a picture of my Cake In A Jar.

It is, it has to be said, not an idea I've ever heard of before. Just watch as it becomes next year's Cupcake (and when did that whole little-cake-with-a-ton-of-icing thing start anyway?)

Work took a new turn (for me at any rate) and I was plunged into the world of SRI*. After a little bit of WTF-ery, I got a handle on what it's doing and it started to make a lot of sense. As with all of these things, I'm waiting for the moment where I try to do something that's not in the manual and it just gets even more hideously complicated...

Although when that happens, I have 2 excellent colleagues that I can speak to. No panic and I will get it done.

Another totally awesome thing about today was I did my hours (and about 40 minutes more) and I was still home for 5. That's just a great feeling. Five pm and done. 20 to 6 and I've blipped too. Fantastic.
