Nigella Seedhead

A misty, murky morning gave way to beautiful sunshine.

Because I'm greedy enough to have two dentists I drove up the A9 to Auchterarder for a long overdue check-up (which turned out ok, phew). I came back a more scenic way via Braco and enjoyed the lovely Perthshire countryside. But my blip is an old seedhead in the back garden. I always leave seedheads in case they're any use to the bugs or birds. This year they've looked good in the frost but that's all gone now. This one is very crisp and its seeds will have scattered I expect. I'll get some self seeded flowers later in the year.

I'm going to pack soon for a weekend away. Blips from further afield for a couple of days. Before that back to yoga which I missed last week.
