Floral tiger

A quiet morning led into almost chaos this afternoon. The plan was for S to have her Yoga lesson (one hour later than expected) and then for us to head north. Part way through the yoga lesson a message was sent from the ambulance service that S' mother had activated her alarm call, and they were sending an ambulance.

It turns out that she had had a near faint, and to avoid falling and hurting herself, had got down on the floor. And then been unable to get up again. In her art room, where she paints. Behind one of the big tables. Without her hearing aids in. When the ambulance arrived the paramedics could not find her. They couldn't see her in the art room, and she couldn't hear them calling her. Eventually, they did find her and she was brought to the hospital, where they have so far found nothing new to cause concern. But she will stay tonight, at least.

The photo I'm blipping was taken before we went to the hospital to see her, when I had a brisk walk along Ponsonby Road. Down an alleyway to some parking spaces.
