Repent

I had to admire his enthusiasm. The word means literally 'filled with God' and this chap, all miked and billboarded up, was overflowing with his particular interpretation. I do wonder what it feels like to have that kind of certainty. I'm sure I will never know.

On the day I finally got to see Stan and Ollie - having had to abandon last week for medical reasons - and totally loved it. Wonderfully nuanced performances and I suspect quite genuine insight into two icons of my childhood. There are some truly great films being made at the moment.
