Vibrant.....

We have stayed close to home today. This vibrant dahlia makes a splash of colour in our garden.The bush fires still raging over in the Nelson Tasman area are extremely worrying. We listen to every news bulletin and using social media, check out the briefing meetings being held in the fire zone. 3000 people have been evacuated from Wakefield, a village which could be in the path of the fires. The communities from all parts of New Zealand are pouring in resources and personnel. We salute those working so hard to protect people, homes and stock. We hope tomorrow will bring better news.
