Bracing (Day 1375)

The morning woofer wander was a bit later than normal, and accomplished before the worst of the wind and rain arrived.
The morning passed by as I sorted out some invoicing for recent jobs, looking out the window occasionally at the worsening weather.
After lunch, my beautiful wife and I took the woofers to Stromness to check on the horses and take the dogs along the shore. The walk was fairly unpleasant. The very strong wind made conversation impossible and drove stinging rain at our faces. I stopped very briefly to take a shot across the waves at Warebeth looking towards Hoy. The camera was out of the bag for fifteen seconds at the very most.
It was a relief to return home to sit on the couch drinking coffee and watching rugby.
