Rock Houses

On these sight-singing weekends we always get Saturday afternoon off to do as we please- this usually means heading to something of interest in the area.  I found a National Trust property - Kinver Edge and Rock Houses. It's a beautiful woodland area with an old hill fort on the top.  What makes it stand apart though are some houses built into the rocks. These are open during summer days but we were not able to see inside today.  It was interesting to see the structures, including the brick built chimney coming out of the rock - it's like Hobbit territory.

A meal soon followed by more singing; the practice certainly does improve the sight reading of music.
