Winter wonderland at Clifton Gorge

Saturday
We enjoyed a wonderful walk by the Little Miami River this afternoon, between John Bryan State Park and Clifton Gorge - up near Yellow Springs, about 50 minutes drive north from us. We walked for almost 6 miles return. The weather was cold (about 23F or -5 C), but calm, with blue skies and sun all day. It took quite a while for my fingers to get warm, even with warm gloves on, but they did eventually, and after that we were fine. As you can see from my collage, Mother Nature has been creating all sorts of wintry formations, providing me with numerous photograph opportunities, so I had to put them into a collage. There were several other people out on the trails, including several other photographers.
