Chocolate and Wine

We went to a wine tasting today with the theme: pairing wine and chocolate. I forgot to take a picture earlier, but here is the mound of Godiva wrappers that resulted. For the most part, the wines would have been better without the chocolate, and vice versa. However, the Zinfandel worked reasonably well, the Ruby Port of course worked classically, and the cream sherry with hazelnut milk chocolate was excellent.
