As good as old

OK, who knows where this is then? Give up, Brooksie and Northern? Prepare to be amazed ...

It's the new-look, Old Town House in Dunbar. The scaffolding is finally down and the formerly red sandstone building has been transformed with this cladding. I am told this is how it would have looked originally.

In today's sunshine, it looks very bright indeed. Dunbar being the type of town it is, everyone stopped to give me their opinion as I took some photos. Most folk like it, but those who don't seem to hate it. However, they were comforted by the timeless wisdom of "Ach well, it'll soon weather".

As you may be able to see, the sundial seems to work properly. Wonder whose job it is to change it when the clocks go forward next month?
