Gardens gate

One belated pic to sum up the February half-term. I think it's fair to say I've lost the blip habit!

There are 3 kids hidden in this picture if you care to look. Cathryn and I had talked about a day trip to Alnwick Castle during the hols but a friend "helpfully" pointed out that the castle doesn't open until Easter so we headed to the Botanic Gardens instead. Fine lunch at the cafe (although why are they always so badly organised - rant, rant!) followed by "find the free range five" when we realised it had gone awfully quiet.

A good day out. Alnwick Castle is now on the list for Easter. Or Summer.
