Cape Brett lighthouse

Today we took a boat trip around the Bay of Islands as far as 'the hole in the rock' and to look for dolphins.
Sadly, killer whales have been in the area recently, so the dolphins were obviously in hiding!
Nevertheless, it was a spectacular trip. The ocean was very rough, so we couldn't get very near to the 'hole', let alone sail through it. (The trip was almost cancelled.)
Just before the 'hole' we passed this lighthouse and keeper station at the tip of the Cape Brett peninsula. The lighthouse is just 15m high, and still functioning, but is now automated. The keeper's house has been restored and hikers can stay the night there if they are prepared for a 20km walk to get there.
Today's first extra is 'the hole'. It was not easy to get a steady and close shot, so I opted for this panorama.
The second extra was taken in calmer waters just having left Russell harbour.
